Established in 1929, the South Coast District Hospital is a 38 bed acute Public Hospital, located in Bay Road, Victor Harbor.

Hospital Entrance

It is incorporated under the South Australian Health Commission Act. The facilities, apart from patient accommodation, include operating theatres, X-ray department, a dental service and accident and emergency department. It is also situated in close proximity to the I.M.V.S pathology laboratory and the Southern Fleurieu Health Service.

The Hospital provides a wide range of Medical, Surgical, Obstetric and Palliative Care services. Care is provided by local General Practitioners and Specialists who visit from Adelaide.
The main entrance to the Hospital and Accident and Emergency have wheelchair ramp access and automatic doors.
