Top level Community Health Services Podiatry


The Podiatry Service provides advice and preventative foot care for clients.

The SFHS Podiatry program offers THREE types of service.

1. General Podiatry Treatment to persons who are on a full pension and who have one of the following conditions:

* Diabetes

* Peripheral vascular disease (poor circulation)

* Rheumatoid arthritis

* Disabling medical conditions such as stroke, emphysema, multiple sclerosis

* Taking blood thinning tablets such as ‘Warfarin’

Clinics are held at Victor Harbor, Goolwa and Yankalilla.

2. Diabetes Foot care Clinics, available to all people with diabetes.

These clinics involve foot assessment, education and advice.

3. Foot Care workshops / groups are run periodically.
