Top level Community Health Services Community Art and Wellbeing Program


The Art and Wellbeing Program provides services 2 days a week at the South Coast Regional Arts Centre in Goolwa and is open to members of the community of varied ages.

The program uses art as a means to mange life challenges in a fun, creative and supportive environment.

The program has a strong focus on:

* Breaking down barriers for people with mental health issues

* Increasing social support

* Developing self esteem, confidence, new skills

* Finding hidden talents

* Forming links with the wider community, groups, services

* Reducing or managing stress levels

Art media used includes, watercolour & acrylic paints, mosaics, weaving, paper mache, paper quilting etc.
