Speech Pathology

Top level Community Health Services Speech Pathology

Speech pathology assists people who are experiencing difficulty in communicating with others, or with eating and swallowing. For example, Speech Pathology provides help with unclear speech, word finding difficulties, stuttering and voice problems.

At Southern Fleurieu Health Service, services are provided for children aged 0-4 years and for adults. Individual and group services are offered. Speech Pathology also provides screening days aimed at early detection of difficulties, and a range of workshops and projects to prevent and minimise the impact of communication difficulties.
